Divorce mediation is a much better, faster and ultimately cheaper than hiring an attorney. In addition to that you will most likely come out with a better result, especially where children are involved.

When I recorded this podcast I titled it “Are women at a disadvantage in divorce mediation” but in this article I referenced the reverse, but the information is still the same. I did another podcast where I discussed whether either party has an advantage during divorce mediation where we covered some other issues.
True divorce mediation should not give any advantage to either party and neither the men nor the women should be at an advantage . The entire process of mediation is to bring the parties on an equal footing so they can dissolve their marriage.

The idea behind mediation is to provide the same information to both parties during the divorce so they can make informed decisions. Despite that, there is a misunderstanding from some that feel that they will be at a disadvantage if they use mediation.
My take is that if you use a reputable Santa Clarita divorce mediation firm you are not going to have any problems with mediation. There are some mediation companies that don’t handle divorce mediation correctly.
The divorce mediation company should be a neutral unbiased party to provide information that will help you come to an agreement with your Santa Clarita Divorce.
