We basically work off a flat fee schedule. We have a fee, three price tiers based on the amount of work to be done and you can find that right on our site at divorce661.com/pricing.
And essentially our costs cover everything. It covers the cost of preparing the forms, taking down to court, serving them, doing everything for you. Photocopies, emails, faxes, as many phone calls as you want to come to us for questions about the process and procedure.
We even have the court DissoMaster software so we can help you determine what the child support and spousal support figures are going to be.
We are full service and on a cost wise basis, we are going to be the lowest cost option for you and the best value.
Let me explain. If you use another service, maybe another paralegal service or perhaps an online service, folks out there are offering very low fees.
And what happens when you use those other services, number one, not only do you have to either fill out a very lengthy questionnaire and file all your own forms and figure how to fill them out, go down to court. Make sure it’s right. Serve them.
The whole process is you have to pay twice the amount of filing fees.
Right now, in LA County the current court fees is $435, multiply that by two, $870 and then you have to put that on top of whatever the other service, be an online or other paralegal service is charging you.
When you use our service that’s not the case, we charge a flat fee. We’ll have a one-time filing fee and your total out of pocket expense is much less than it would be, even if you’re using and online service and did everything on your own.
In fact, you cost won’t be that much higher than you doing this completely on your own trying to save money. Because of those filing fees and because we can save you on those filing fees.
